The SpectraLink KIRK 8-channel Digital Base Station (With External Antenna Connector) is a fast and easy to install device that supports the operation of the SpectraLink DECT Servers and SpectraLink Wireless Handsets, serving as a link between these devices in order for them to interoperate seamlessly. It operates using an over-the-air call signalling. When connecting an optional external antenna, it is able to extend its coverage to more area, with is a circular area between 66 and 985 feet in diameter. The efficiency and effectiveness of this coverage can depend on the following:
