Siemens 60 Channel IP Unit Control (NCUI2) is responsible for controlling the gateway unit and the IPDA as part of distributed PBX in a local system. Some of the central functions that the NCUI2 performs include the following:

This NCUI2 is inclusive of a switching capability that allows up to 256 time slots with 2.048 mbps each switching on 8 highways. In addition to this, there is also up to 30 time slots subset that can be switched though IP network to external traffic.
