Panasonic Australia strengthens Cordless Phone line-up

Panasonic, a leader in cordless telecommunications for the home, has announced its continuing commitment to the cordless phone market, with the introduction of a new product range including both 1.8GHz and 5.8GHz models, designed to meet the needs of any household or small office.

The versatile new cordless range combines functionality with European styling and offers products to suit all requirements and budgets in both 5.8GHz and 1.8GHz models. 

Stylishly designed to complement the modern home, the new products are competitively priced and offer Panasonic's convenient features such as: multi-handset expandability, superior clarity and security, Night Mode ensuring no disruptions from after hours calls, integrated Digital Answering Machine, the Slow Talk Feature and Talking Caller IDⁱ.

1.8GHz  Cordless Phone Line-up
The 1.8GHz range features two new product series - the stylish KX-TG83 models which offer a choice of glossy white or black and the KX-TG73 series models which come in a sophisticated titanium finish.

The KX-TG83 series is a first for Panasonic with its large easy-to-read colour LCD screen and intuitive menu. It also features Night Mode, illuminated keypad, 200 name and number Caller ID Display and is fully GAP Compatible. The KX-TG83 series is available in single, twin and triple packs with digital answering system as standard (excluding the KX-TG8301ALW).

The KX-TG73 series has a titanium finish and is available in single and triple handset packs. It offers a range of features including, the convenience of base dial, Caller ID, Handset Speaker Phone, backlit LCD and lighted keypad.

The KX-TG73 and KX-TG83 series will be available from leading consumer electronics retailers, rolling-out from November 2008 to February 2009.

5.8GHz DECT Cordless Phone Line-up
Featuring DSS technology in the 5.8GHz range, Panasonic introduces two cordless phone series: the KX-TG43 in black and KX-TG605 in silver. Both series are available in a range of multi-handset packs to suit all requirements.

The KX-TG43 series offers Night Mode ensuring no disruptions from those after-hours calls and is available in multi-handset packs up to a quad pack. It also features Caller ID, speaker phone, backlit LCD and lighted keypad and an integrated digital answering machine (except KX-TG4381 and KX-TG4382 models).

The KX-T605 series - in single, twin or triple packs - features Talking Caller ID and Slow Talk function, which allows users to slow down the incoming caller's voice, a desirable function for those with hearing difficulties.

The KX-TG43 and KX-TG605 series are available now.

This feature offers instant access to user-programmed phone numbers, from a built-in memory store of up to 50 or 200 names and numbers (dependent on model).
 
Multi-Handset Expandability - KX-TG43, KX-TG605, KX-TG73, KX-TG83 series
For added convenience, this feature allows for up to four handsets to be registered with a single base unit.

Colour LCD on Handset - KX-TG83 series
The full-colour display offers a bright, colourful icon-based menu that is easy to see and use. The operation mode and current status are clearly displayed and the background images can be selected to suit the user's preference.

Night Mode - KX-TG43, KX-TG83 series
This feature mutes the ringer so you are not disturbed by late night calls.  When connected to a Caller ID service, it is possible to assign 'Night Mode' according to the number of the incoming call, so important callers can still get through.
