Avaya IP500 PRI Additional Channels - 8 E1 Channels License
The Avaya IP500 PRI License (Part number: 215184) is used to allow additional B-channels (up to the capacity of ports installed and PRI mode selected require licenses) above the basic 8 on an IP500 PRI-U card (supported to E1, T1 and E1-R2 PRI modes) or the IP Office system supports 8 unlicensed B-channels on each IP500 PRI-U port fitted.
*additional channels consume the licenses based on which additional channels are configured as in-service from port 9 of slot 1 upwards, while the D-channels are not affected by licensing.
Or Avaya IP500 PRI License enables 8 IP500 E1 channels on the IP500 single or dual E1 T1 base card / enables additional 8 E1 trunk channels for IP500 PRI interface (IP Office 500 communication solution can scale up to 272 telephones and 8 T1/E1 trunks).
*single card provides 8 and the dual card provides 16 E1 channels (additional E1 licenses come in increments of 2, 8 or 22 and can be added to obtain the maximum capacity of channels that the card supports ) that are already licensed - not compatible with the IP412
*IP Office 500 supports 8 expansion modules providing a combination of up to 272 analog, digital, and IP telephones, with capacity for 16 analog trunks or 8 digital trunks (192 T1/PRI channels or 240 E1 channels) - Optionally, SIP trunks are also supported.
Note: The IP Office family consists of the IP Office 500 and IP Office 412 communications solutions (additional analog trunks can be achieved by using Expansion Modules. Optional support for up to 128 voice compression channels is available) - Systems can be expanded through the use of expansion modules. The IP Office system also can be configured as a voice-only PBX, using traditional circuit-switched lines, or as an IP telephony server using high-speed ISDN/PRI dial-up access and/or direct leased line connectivity and/or SIP trunks.
