The Avaya IP Office 500 Trunk Card Primary Rate Universal Dual TAA (700501517) is an IP500 Trunk Daughter Card which provides two PRI trunk ports on your Avaya IP Office system. This card is a Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant variant which can be added to an IP500 base card to provide that card with support for PRI trunks. The Avaya IP500 Universal PRI 2 Dual Trunk Daughter Card is compatible with Avaya IP500 digital station, analog station, and VCM base cards. This supports IP Office R4.1 or higher.
On dual port cards, both ports will be the same line type. The line type selection can be changed using IP Office Manager while the options available depend on the IP Office operation mode and locale. Each port supports PRI line types including E1 PRI (30B+D channels per port), E1R2 PRI (30B channels per port), T1 robbed bit (24B channels per port), and T1 PRI (23B+D channels per port). The IP Office system supports 8 unlicensed B-channels on each port. Additional channels are activated by IP500 Universal PRI licenses. Avaya IP500 Universal PRI 2 Dual Trunk Daughter Card uses ports 9 and 10 of the host IP500 base card for physical trunk connection. Port 11 and 12 can be used as test points for connection of test and monitoring equipment for the adjacent port. There is a maximum of 4 cards per IP500 control unit and 1 single port card only in IP Office Basic Edition modes.
