Avaya DECT IP Radio Base Station Compact Version 3 IP Office (700511088) is an IP-DECT based radio transceiver for the Avaya DECT R4 wireless system. This Compact Radio Base Station is physically like other base stations with internal aerials, but only supports four simultaneous calls. The Avaya DECT IP Compact Radio Base Station V3 has two integral internal aerials for directional pattern of radio coverage. It also has a detachable bracket for wall mounting, column mounting, or removal for maintenance.
Avaya DECT IP Compact Radio Base Station V3 connects to Avaya IP500 Control Unit via IP and to Wireless Handsets via DECT. It is compatible with Avaya 3720, 3725, 3740, and 3749 wireless handsets. It requires IP Office 5.0 or higher, available VCM channels, and SARI (Secondary Access Rights Identifier) certificate once per DECT installation to identify the system which is sold separately. The base station can be powered using IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet or an optional external power supply unit where PoE is not available. A maximum of up to 5 Compact Base Stations can be used in a system.
