Avaya DECT Avaya InBuilding Wireless Server R2 Open Application Protocol (700501483) is an application server for the DECT R4 system and IP Office 8.0 supported. The AIWS2 OAP can run applications such as SMS messaging, centralized phonebook, and corporate directory access. It supports centralized device management, including firmware and configuration upgrades over the air. It has a built-in power supply and includes wall mounting brackets. The AIWS is supplied with a number of power leads suitable for most locales. Various other mounting kits are available.

The AIWS2 has replaced the AIWS1 design. The AIWS2 OAP Variant features NTP Server, Central Phonebook, SMS Support, Basic Web Messaging, and AIWS as Protocol Converter. For installation and maintenance, this server is managed by a PC using Windows Internet Explorer (7.0 or above) and Sun’s Java Runtime Environment. The AIWS2 Front Panel includes Power LED, Status LED, Mode Switch and LED, Restart Switch, SD Card Slot, USB Ports, and Management Port. The Rear Panel includes LAN 1, LAN 2, and Power Connectors. Several variants of the server are available. There is no upgrade available between variants.
