• The basic rate interface media bay module (BRIM S/T) module connects a maximum of four BRI ISDN lines to the Business Communications Manager system
• T-interface to connect to an NT1 device or an S-interface to connect ISDN terminals
• Supports ETSI and National ISDN BRI
• Utilizes 1/3 DS-30
• European systems use an S interface
• North American-based systems use a T i/face with an external NTI line
• Each BRI ISDN line you connect adds two telephone lines to the Business Communications Manager system. Therefore, each BRIM S/T adds a maximum of eight telephone lines to the Business Communications Manager system through the four RJ48C jacks on the faceplate
• Users can also use this module for dial backup or dial-on-demand services for WAN connections
